Acrawax C. Polarised light micrograph of the synthetic wax Acrawax C, which is utilized in a variety of applications. It is a pigment dispersant aid for most polymers including PVC and nylon. It used as a processing aid for resins and polymers and as a defoaming agent. Acrawax C can also be atomized, and used as a lubricant and binder for cold compaction of powdered metal parts. Magnification: x83 when printed 10 centimetres wide.
