Asian elephants (Elephas maximus indicus). Juvenile and adult bathing. These elephants are being trained to work with mahouts who drive them. The female Asian elephant reaches sexual maturity at 9-15 years of age and gives birth to only one calf, although twins are rare. This elephant is an endangered species.
