The trees in the background of the photo are called Eritrineira which produces an orange flower when it rains. In this photo it is on the Roca Nova Moca where it is used to provide shade for the coffee bushes.The plantation 'Roca Nova Moka' in Sao Tom? and Princip?. The plantation is 12 hectares in size, but was once part of the much larger plantation 'Monte Cafe'. It lies in teh North West of Sao Tom? and Princip?. The plantation now only produces coffee. Sao Tom? and Princip? is Africa's second smallest country with a population of 193 000. It consists of two mountainous islands in the Gulf of New Guinea, straddling the equator, west of Gabon.
