Wales, Denbighshire, Llangollen. A stone circle built for the Eisteddfod in front of Plas Newydd, once home of the celebrated Ladies of Llangollen, Lady Eleanor Butler and Lady Sarah Ponsonby, two aristocratic lesbians who lived there at the end of the eighteenth century.
