Kronosaurus extinct marine reptile. Artwork of Kronosaurus (Kronosaurus queenslandicus) swimming underwater. This extinct reptile lived 125-100 million years ago and belonged to the pliosaur group of carnivorous marine reptiles. It measured around ten metres in length. With a large powerful jaw and strong paddles for limbs, it was a fast swimmer and a voracious hunter.
