This page is from a copy of 'Theriaca et Alexipharmaca', a work by the 2nd century BC Greek physician Nicander of Colophon. This copy of the manuscript, from Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine Empire, is held at the Bibliotheque nationale de France (BnF).
