General Electric Building at 570 Lexington and East 51st Street in New York City. It was originally the RCA Victor Building. The building was built in 1929-1931 of salmon brick and terra cotta. It is a 50 story office building designed by the architectural firm Cross and Cross. The flamboyant top, a curious mixture of gothic spires in limestone and brickwork with wavy, filigree style decoration and lightning bolt motifs, depicts the electricity of radio transmission waves sent by the Radio Corporation of America.
