Detail of the Gunbad i Kabud Blue domed Mausoleum. The plan is decagonal and cylindrical ribs support twelve arches, completed by muqarnas that were crowned by a most likely dodecagonal pyramid shaped coping. The lower part of the structure, corresponding to the crypt, was made with finely shaped stones, laid in rows on a markedly projecting socle. 2009 photograph.
