Quantum waves. Computer model showing many wave paths superimposed onto the surface of a sphere. This produces a random wave, an example of quantum chaos. Classical chaos is when waves can travel in any possible direction. Quantum chaos is when quantum wavepackets are added together randomly. This model of a random wave was produced as an artwork by Professor Eric Heller.
