Passion flowers (Passiflora 'Venus'). The passion flower is a tropical climbing plant that is native to South America. The flower consists of white petals and off-white sepals crowned with purple corona filaments. In the centre are the reproductive parts of the plant. The male parts are at the bottom, with the female parts on top. There are five male stamens, which consist of a stalk-like filament and a pollen-bearing anther. Above these is the pale green round ovary, which is topped by three styles, which all end in a stigma.
