MODEL RELEASED. Bedroom for the disabled. Elderly man sits in a hoist, in a bedroom converted for use by a disabled person. He is supported in a hammock-type seat. The overhead tracking system and hoist is secured to a reinforced ceiling. The disabled person, using a series of colour-coded strings, can raise and lower themselves and be moved over the bed. It is a device which gives the disabled person added independence when at home.
