Eye surgery patients. Post-operative eye surgery patients, being led by relatives, returning to a medical clinic in Lakipia, a remote rural region of Kenya. At the clinic, the bandages will be removed and they will find out if their eye operations have been a success. Common and debilitating eye conditions in this area include cataracts and trachoma infections, both of which can be treated relatively easily and cheaply, but can lead to blindness if not treated. Photographed as part of work by the UK charity MEAK (Medical and Educational Aid to Kenya).
