Sports footwear testing. Researcher placing motion sensors on a test subject who is about to test a set of sports trainers. Seventeen motion sensors will track the movement of the test subject as she runs in the trainers. This will allow movements of the leg joints (ankle, knee, hip) to be recorded, and the trainer design can be modified or improved to support these joints and reduce the chances of injuries.
