This is part of the weapons system. The Eurofighter Typhoon, developed as the most advanced fighter jet in the world, is flown by a computerised flight control system. A range of simulators were extensively used to design and test the jet. The Eurofighter is a joint project between the UK, Germany, Italy, and Spain. The Eurofighter Typhoon will enter service in 2003.
