Newspaper production on a modern printing press. This is the rear of one of the presses in a chain, showing the colour rolls. The white cylinders are the printing plates. Modern newspapers use either blue/red/yellow/black or cyan/magenta/yellow/black for colour reproduction. Print rates of up to 60,000 copies per hour are possible for large machines.
