Galaxies of stars (upper centre) formed from the earliest elements, and fused these into heavier elements which passed into space when the star died. The planets including Earth (upper left) are made from these heavier elements. On Earth early single-celled organisms (centre left) evolved to more complex plants and eventually humans evolved. The last 3 stages show human sperm & egg (lower left), an embryo, and an astronaut.
