Vintage patent medicine advertisement (late 1800's). Dr Seth Arnold's Cough Killer medicine was advertised as a cure for coughs, asthma, pneumonia, malaria and many other diseases. The ingredients included morphine. Advertisements for unproven proprietary or patent medicines and treatments were common before the introduction of food and medical legislation in the early 1900's.
