Children of all ages (and adults!) love catching crabs. Image show a young boy crabbing at Dartmouth embankment. He filled his bucket with sea or river water. His bate was some bacon on the crab line.By lowering the crab line with net into the water until it has reached the bottom. He waited a few minutes then gentle pulled the line up. He caught a number of crabs. The image shows him dropping them gently into his bucket, then eventually returning them gently to the water.
