A backstreet in the outskitrs of the Guatemalan town of Xela. A characteristic but crumbling house sits baking in the sun, infront lies a dishevelled pavement and a dry dusty road. The house itself is worn but glows a beautiful blue colour in the afternoon sun. On the front wall of the house sits the main entrance, a comparatively grand black double wooden door. On the floor of the entrance are a few old but relatively shiny ceramic tiles. To the right sits the number of the house and then a double window behind the standard Latin-American metal bars which cover all houses whuch face a public street. The metal grill is black and attached firmly to the stonework. A lot of the blue paintwork has flaked off and revelas the pld stonework beneath. On the other side of the door is a small metal plaque which show the name of the owner of the house, again, a very Latin characteristic.
