Dead tamarisk trees (Tamarix sp.) lining the banks of the Colorado River through Cataract Canyon in Canyonlands National Park, Utah, USA. The trees were killed by the tamarisk beetle (Diorhabda carinulata), which was introduced by the National Park Service to control the invasive tamarisk.
