A female ribbon eel, Rhinomuraena quaesita. This sequential hermaphrodite fish starts life as a black male juvenile, then changes to a blue male and eventually ends up as a yellow female able to lay eggs. Photographed at Lembeh Strait, Sulawesi, Indonesia.
