Cinnabar moth caterpillars (Tyria jacobaeae) feeding on ragwort (Senecio jacobaea). The yellow and black colouration of these caterpillars acts as a warning to predators that they are poisonous. They gain their poison from the toxic pyrolizidine alkaloids in ragwort. Photographed in July, in Dorset, UK.
