PALMISTRY - ASTRO-PALMISTRY An attempt to relate the parts of the human hand to the twelve signs of the zodiac. The top diagram reveals the four main lines of Heart, Head, Fate and Life, which are integrated with the zodiacal impulses in another diagram. The schematic diagram of the hand below shows the correspondence of planetary influences. The red patch represents the Mars of the thumb. The blue finger is the index, linked with Jupiter. The brown finger is the finger of Saturn, the purple the ring finger (here linked with Mars), the yellow is the small finger, linked with Mercury. The silver area is the percussion, linked with the Moon, while the green area is the ball of the thumb, linked with Venus. In the centre, the area of the finger roots are linked with Venus and the Sun. The system was proposed by F. Gettings in The Hand and the Horoscope, 1973.
