The Death card of Crowley's Book of Thoth Tarot. Crowley's designs for the Tarot, while impressive, are intensely individualistic, and do not relaly pertain to the established occult symbolism of the Tarot tradition. They were painted by his associate, Lady Frieda Harris. Like many tarot-designers and magicians, Crowley believed that the original card designs had been lost, and that his own cards recovered this lost meaning for the New Age - the Age of Horus - which was to come.
