In his right hand, he holds a Kolf club, known as a kliek, which has a wooden shaft and a heavy metal head. In his left hand is a sajet ball, made of wool covered with leather. These were used to play a court game related to modern golf. Like most little boys of the time, he wears a skirt. At around age seven he will wear his first breeches (BSLOC_2016_3_101)
