Olympic Divers Prepare Members of the variuos olympic teams were out training at the Empire Pool , Wembley , this afternoon Esme Harris , 15 year old Oxford Schoolgirl , entry for the springboard events gets the autograph of Bruce Harlah of Lansdown , Philadelphia , who won the American springboard Olympic Trials In the first week the Empire pool was used for the swimming , diving and water polo events , in the second week the pool was drained and a stage put over the basin so that the boxing events could be staged in the same arena 22nd July 1948
