Mrs Gustav Taylor , her son , Godfrey , and her daughter , Molly , who are to be found every day in workrooms at New Oxford Street , London , comprise the only family in the country in which all members are daily engaged in making glass eyes . The family has its own secret process for giving permanence to the colours burnt into the eye . No machinery of any sort is used and in each case the eye is made to match the natural eye under microscopical examination .
