Arrested for murder of Armenian Bishop in New York . Tragedy visited the Holy Cross Armenian Catholic Church in New York when Archbishop Leon Touraine , head of that faith in the United States , was stabbed to death by a member of his congregation . The murder was the result of a dispute in the Church caused by the Archbishop ' s sponsoring the adoption of a new flag to replace the Armenian Banner .
