Girls engaged in the millinery and dressmaking trades in Madrid have joined the strike movememnt which is sweeping the country and is involving workers in industries as far removed as coal mining , agriculture and even bull fighting , and has already cost many lives . The girls marched through the streets of the city shouting a demand that all workers in the dressmaking trades should join the strike .
