Britain draws with America in Curtis Cup . Women 's golf at Gleneagles . A succeeful putt on the last green in the last match secured a draw for Britian in the Curti Cup golf competition with the American women ' s team at Gleneagles , Scotland . Each side won four games with one halved . The Cup goes back to America , however , as the Americans are the holders . Miss Jessie Anderson , the young Scottish player , holed a putt right across the 18 green to save the game for Britian , who were at that time one down . Photo shows , Miss Patty Berg , 18 year old baby of the American team , taking her second shot on the approach to the 2nd green .
