Four babies to play the same screen role . Four seven month old babies have been given film contracts each to play the same baby role in the same picture . The children , who appears in ' The Three Godfathers ' are two pairs of twins , Jean and Judith Kircher and Josh and Joan Kelly . Each will alternate in playing the role . As the company will have to work in the heat of the Arizone desert , Richard Boleslawaki , who is directing the film , asked four babies , identical in appearance , so that each will have to work for only a few minutes at a time .
