Something to crow about! Electricity aids hens on Soviet farms! Even the hens are doing their bit in the speeding up of production on the collective farms of the Soviet Ukraine. Encouraged by electrically heated and lighted poultry runs, one hen has made 185 eggs in six months a new record in egg production for the area. The Soviet Union is spending huge sums in supplying electricity to the collective farms of the Ukraine and an all-around increase in egg production is one of the major results.
