Leningrad Commander accused with seven other Red Army leaders and Moscow trial. General I E Yakir, who was recently removed by the Soviet authorities from the important Kiev Command to that Leningrad military district, is one of the the eight Red Army leaders who are standing trial before a special tribunal to the USSR Supreme Court in Moscow. The men are charged with violation of military duty, high treason, betrayal of the peoples of the USSR, and the workers and peasants of the Red Army.
