Miss Margaret Campbell with her fiance, Prince Ludwig of Hessen after the announcement of their engagement. She is the daughter of a former British Ambassador to America, Sir Auckland Geddes, and niece to the late Sir Eric Geddes, originator of the post-war economy measures known as the "Geddes Axe".
