STALAG LUFT III TRIAL AT HAMBURG Fourteen of the eighteen members of the German Gestapo on trial in Hamburg, charged with the murder of 50 RAF and Alllied airmen who escaped from the prison camp in 1944, were sentenced to death by a British war crimes court today.
