Under a scheme backed by the Football Association and Football League, professional footballers from various London Clubs are taking courses in retailing at the L.C.C. College for Distributive Traders. They will have the opportunity of visiting factories and shops as part of their training. The courses comprise textiles, confectionary, tobacco and sports equipment and classes are held for two periods each week for twenty weeks.
