The flying Scot, Jackie Stewart, holds, aloft his trophy, after winning the 40th Italian Grand Prix here on September 7th. Today's win gave 30 year old Jackie Stewart the 1969 World driving championship. His Matra-Ford covered the 68 lap 234 1/2 mile race in one hour 39 minutes, 12.2 seconds his average speed was 141.93 MPH. Second place was Austrian Jochen Rindt; and third was Jean Pierre Beltois of France 9th September 1969
