With luncheon boxes resting on their knees, some of the 5,000 company directors attending today's annual conference of the Institute of Directors in London's Royal Albert Hall, partake of an informal meal during a break in the proceedings. Each luncheon box contained a plastic knife and fork, mousse de foi gras, grilled lamb cutlet, roast chicken, stilton cheese, a bottle of red wine, a plastic glass, (cup or spoon), three cigarettes, a box of matches and a toothpick and tumbler. The Duke of Edinburgh attended this morning's session of the meeting, but did not stay for lunch. - 31st October 1962
