Much acoustic research, including experiments on the site, will result in the hall having double skinned wall designed to exclude noise, a raked floor, and a special ceiling shape When the work of construction has been completed the Concert Hall will itself be tuned' by the use of difference types of internal finishing. With its platform providing for an orchestra of over 100, and its maximum audience capacity of 3,500. London's new hall will rank with any similar achievement in Europe. January 1951
