New York, U.S.A.: Salvador Dali, with the aid of Leslie Crane, on left, and several live pigs (Foreground), gets set to create his latest masterpiece before videotape cameras here. The painting, to be entitled "Chaos and Creation" will be displayed in connection with the fifth International Annual Conference on visual communications, sponsored by the New York Art Directors club on April 13th and 14th. Dali had planned to create the painting during the conference, but discovered that he would not be available on the days of the conference. Instead, it was decided to put the unusual "Show" on videotape. Here's how Dali intends to create his painting: On stage will be a roaring motor-cycle, squealing pigs, and a screaming woman. Two hundred pounds of popcorn will be exploded over the entire scene. When the confusion has reached the desired pitch, the whole scene will be sprayed with a form of liquid chocolate to simulate blood. Then a giant canvas will be dropped over the whole works, and pressed down with brooms. when the scene beneath is translated to the under side of the canvas via the chocolate syrup, Dali's masterpiece will be completed. 6 March 1960
