Pierre Paul Leroy-Beaulieu (9 December 1843-1916) was a French economist, educated in Paris at the Lyc嶪 Bonaparte and the 丱ole de Droit. Studied at Bonn and Berlin, and on returning to Paris began to write for Le Temps, Revue nationale and Revue contemporaine. In 1867 his essay won a prize offered by the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences. 1880 attained the chair of political economy in the Coll銶e de France.
