Coxswain Henry Blogg of the Cromer ( Norfolk ) lifeboat has been awarded the Ryl National Lifeboat Institution's gold medal ( the VC of the lifeboat service ) for the third time - he has also won the Institution's silver medal three times and the Order of the British Empire - when six steamers were stranded off the Norfolk coast Coxswain Blogg took his lifeboat through the storm and by skilful handling saved the lives of 88 men of the crews - photo shows Coxswain Henry Blogg April 1934
