It is a well known fact, even among children, that Father Christmas has to have outside help when it comes to the business of filling stockings for the millions of youngsters all over the world. What is perhaps not so widely known is the fact that a Father Christmas factory is working full blast filling stockings, in Pentonville Road London. The work of the fillers up goes on all the year round, and the stockings go to hang on bedposts all the world over. Photo shows looking down on Mrs Florence Carroll as she fills a stocking full of good things,at Pentonville Road. Mrs Carroll has spent 20 years assisting Santa Claus, in this way.
