Windmill Theatre "Star" Marilyn Lynde comes up to a snappy salute as she is "Inspected" by Vesta Tilley music hall toast of the gay days when soldiers wore red coats and pillbox hats. Vesta Tilley heard Marilyn sing her own favourite song "There's Something About A Soldier" during the Windmill's Show to-day. 18 February 1948
