Messenger boys in a typewriting class at the London County Council's Kingsway Institute under the direction of Mr T Gilbert. Boys are employed as messengers by cable companies which are among the biggest employers of boy labour.. They attend classes for 6 hours a week to be prepared for the time when their age will necessitate their leaving their present job. January 27th 1935
