Tuscaloosa, Ala. U.S.A: Vivian Malone. who becomes the first known Negress to graduate from the University of Alabana tomorrow, models traditional cap and gown for newsman after a news conferednce here on May 28th. Two years ago, Miss Malone and another Negro student, James Hood, were confronted by Alabama Governor George C. Wallace's "stand in the school House door" episode. Miss Malone and Hood were admitted to the University under the protection of Federalised Troops. Hood later withdrew from the school and gave "deteriorating health" as his reason 29 May 1965
