A grand evening dress in red linen from the 1965 spring/summer collection of Emilio Pucci of Florence. The novelty of the ankle-length dress is that it has trousers under the skirt garnished with san gallo lace at the bottom just visible under the hemline. The dress has a renaissance flavour in the design of the bodice front with its rounded neckline transversed by a horizontal strap and little string belt at waist. Florence - 25th January 1965
