Mrs Liotard ( widow living in Lancaster Gate in London ) has tamed more than 50 sparrows in Kensington Gardens in three weeks - every day she walks to the ornamental lake in the gardens and sits on one of the park seats by the public walk - the sparrows fly from the trees to welcome her - nine of them will feed from her hand at the same time - another dozen will sit on her lap and eat - patience and birdseed is Mrs Liotard's recipe for success - photo shows her with her bird friends in Kensington Gardens in London January 9th 1934
