A motor coaster built for the Newcastle Coal and Shipping Company Limited at Pollock's Faversham Shipyard in Kent was launched broadside into Faversham Creek by Mrs Camroux ( wife of the Chairman of the Newcastle Coal and Shipping Company ) - the vessel which was named Camroux I is of 400 tons and is the largest steel mercantile ship ever launched broadside in Kent - The Camroux I taking the water broadside with a grant splash October 11th 1934
