To popularise the sport of skiing at German resorts the ski clubs of Berlin organised a demonstration through the streets of the city - members of the clubs in winter sports dress and wearing their skis shuffled their way to the Lustgarten and there gave an exhibition of the movements used in ski-running to prove how easy it is - photo shows the ski runners during the demonstration November 17th 1934
